Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, delivered a work report at the opening session of the 19th CPC National Congress on Wednesday, looking at the progress made by China and the CPC over the last five years, and laying out his vision for the next five years and further into the future.

CGTN analyzed the language used in Xi Jinping's work report and presents the most frequently used words with a word cloud below.

The frequency of keywords that have played major roles in the policies of the last five years shows how much China has changed since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012. 

CGTN also compared the keywords of the report delivered at the 19th CPC National Congress to the one at the 18th National Congress five years ago.

Economy remains the main target of both congresses.

Five years later, however, brand new words emerge –Chinese Dream, ecological civilization, Belt and Road Initiative and Beautiful China – that have not appeared before.(FROM CGTN )
